GENERAL QUESTIONS

READY TO SHIP VS MADE TO ORDER?

Ready To Ship are in stock items that a readily avalaible for purchase. In stock items will be shipped within 3 business days. However, most of our pieces are made to order.

Made To Order item’s production time is typically about 2 weeks but can reach 8+ weeks depending on the intricacy of the piece. Once your piece is complete and it ships, we will email you tracking information.

WILL I BE CHARGED TAX?

To find out if you will be charged tax in your state, please enter your shipping address at checkout.

HOW DO I ENTER A PROMOTIONAL CODE?

At checkout, you will be able to enter your promo code.

WHY IS MY PROMO CODE NOT WORKING?

Here are a few reasons why your promo code may not be working.

1. It may have expired.

2. The piece you are trying to purchase is excluded from the sale.

3. Promo codes are not valid on Site Exclusive pieces.

CAN I USE MULTIPLE PROMO CODES IN ONE ORDER?

At check out you may only enter one promo code per order. If you have multiple promo codes, please enter the one you prefer to use.

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

Once an order has been placed we are unable to cancel it.

If you need to make a change to your shipping address before your order is fulfilled you may do so by emailing us at info@kellybellodesign.com.

CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER AFTER IT HAS BEEN PLACED?

Please make sure you check your order and everything looks good before placing your order as we are unable to make any changes to an order once it has been made.

WHAT DOES FINAL SALE MEAN?

All made-to-order, personalized, engraved, and custom sized items are final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned for store credit.

All accessories, gift cards and non-jewelry items are final sale.

DO YOU OFFER GIFT WRAPPING?

All of our orders come in a gift-ready box! If you wish to include a gift note, please enter your message at checkout and we'll be happy to include it.

DOES MY STORE CREDIT EXPIRE?

Yes, all unused store credit will expire after five years.

Do I have to create an account?

No, you don't have to create an account. However, we strongly recommend that you create an account so that you can take advantage of the various benefits it offers. For example, you will be able to access your account easily the next time you visit us, and you will also be able to get personalized recommendations and services tailored to your needs. By creating an account with us, you will be able to make the most out of our services and save time in the future.

How do I change my account password?

If you have forgotten your password, don't worry. You can easily reset it by clicking the 'forgot password' link. Once you click the link, you will receive an email with instructions on how to create a new password. Follow the instructions to set a new password that is secure and easy to remember. Remember to keep your password safe and never share it with anyone.

DO I HAVE TO SIGN FOR DELIVERY?

All orders over $400 require a signature upon delivery.

Signature can be waived at customers responsibility.

Rush is an option you can add to speed up your order's production time.

You can request to have your order Rush at checkout. If it's not possible, we will notify you.

IS SHIPPING INSURED?

We offer Route Package protection at checkout.

WHAT IS ROUTE PACKAGE PROTECTION?

Route is a package protection that can be added at checkout and rest assured you’ll be covered in case your order gets lost, damaged, or stolen in transit.

If something went wrong with your protected order, you can report an issue by filing a claim here.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Please note that the following terms and conditions apply to all international orders:

The order recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws, regulations and restrictions of the destination country.

Prices and shipping fees do not include brokerage fees, import and customs duties, Value Added Taxes (“VAT”), tariffs, and other fees that may be levied by the destination country, all of which are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Kelly Bello Design is not responsible for brokerage fees, import and customs duties, Value Added Taxes (“VAT”), tariffs, and any other associated fees.

Kelly Bello Design is not responsible for delayed delivery of packages due to customs or weather related issues when shipping internationally.

All costs incurred on a refused delivery because of high custom or brokerage fees, duties, taxes or restrictions imposed by the country of destination are the responsibility of the purchaser.

If you opt on refusing delivery of your order, and the package is send back to us and you opt for not re-shipping your order, there will be a 20% restock fee.

Due to the custom nature of our products, we require between 2-8 weeks to produce your order.

REPAIRS + RESIZING

WHAT'S KBDS RETURN POLICY?

We offer exchanges or store credit within 5 days of delivery of purchase.

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused, unaltered and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

All made-to-order, personalized, engraved, and custom sized items are final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned for store credit.

Due to strict health and safety regulations, all piercings and earrings are final sale with no exceptions.

Kelly Bello Design reserve the right to refuse any exchange if we believe the items purchased are intentionally damaged or misused.

We do not cover shipping for exchanges.

HOW DO I REQUEST AN EXCHANGE OR REPAIR?

To request an exchange or require a repair please contact us through our contact form.

Please note that the customer is responsible for the repair and two-way shipping.

Repairs are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Allow 2-8 weeks for all repairs. Rush repairs are not accepted.

JEWELRY CARE TIPS

JEWELRY CARE TIPS

To extend the life of your jewelry and keep them in optimal condition please follow the following care instructions: 

- Take off your jewelry before your daily rituals such as: showering, lotion, perfume, etc.

- Leave your jewelry at home before engaging in strenuous activities.

- Keep your jewelry away from chemicals such as perfume, hair spray, cosmetics and lotion.

- Exposure to makeup, oil, and dyes can diminish the sparkle of your jewelry.

- Before bedtime, lay your jewelry out flat.

- For necklaces, please clasp the necklace when removing it to assure the chain does not tangle or knot.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR JEWELRY

To clean your KBD jewelry, use our Essential Foaming Jewelry Cleaner. Our Essential Foaming Jewelry Cleaner is the perfect solution to help keep clean all of your KBD pieces. It is safe to use on diamonds, all metals, and gems including pearls and delicate stones such as opals, turquoises, and lapis.

Instructions:

Apply foam to jewelry. (Tip: Use the cap to hold the jewelry while cleaning.)

Allow soaking for 10-30 seconds. Work into hard to reach places with the soft brush (included)

Rinse well. Repeat if necessary

*Always test a small area before doing a full cleaning.

DO'S AND DON'TS

Kelly Bello Design fine jewelry is delicate and should be cared for accordingly. If you have a fine jewelry piece that contains a pearl, extra care should be taken. Pearls are precious jewels and should be treated accordingly.

Do not clean pearls with any chemicals, abrasives or solvents.

Remember to alway put on your jewels as a final touch.

When not in use, store in a safe place. Our Mini Essentials Case is the perfect way to keep all your KBD everyday pieces in one place. Perfect size to take with you on a short trip or just to keep in your everyday bag!

REMINDER:

Kelly Bello Design fine jewelry is delicate and should be cared for accordingly. If you have a fine jewelry piece that contains a pearl, extra care should be taken. Pearls are precious jewels and should be treated accordingly.

PIERCING JEWELRY

KBD PIERCING EARRINGS

We’ve designed a special collection of 14k gold piercing earrings perfect for all parts of the ear. These pieces will add a little bit of extra sparkle to your look. Our piercing jewelry is solid gold with a flat back, so that your new piercings will look and feel their best!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE

Be sure to go to a liscenced professional piercer. Check reviews and their social media to be sure you’re a fan of their work. Piercing pain and healing time vary greatly from person to person. Generally, lobes hurt the least and can take about 6 to 10 weeks to heal. Cartilage piercings typically hurt much more and can take 3 to 18 months to heal.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Clean your piercing until it is fully healed, which can take several months depending on your piercing. However everyone is different so your healing time may be different. Apply your piercer’s approved sterile saline to clean your new piercing at three times a day. Many things can cause irritation including moisture. Dry well afterward using a clean paper towel or using the cold setting on a hairdryer.

PIERCING AFTERCARE

Be careful not to aggravate your new piercing when washing and styling your hair, changing clothing, and sleeping on your fresh piercing.

Do not remove your jewelry during its healing time as it will begin to close immediately.

Make sure all soaps or shampoos are clear of your ear when showering.

Expect build-up of dried matter on the piercing, use warm water on a paper towel (or a warm, gentle shower setting) to reduce the matter.

We suggest avoiding wearing any type of hats.

Avoid swimming or submerging your new piercing in any pool of water during the healing process.

If you have any questions or concerns, Your piercer will be your best resource!

NEW PIERCING DO’S AND DON’TS

DO NOT touch your piercing.

DO NOT rotate, move, or twist your jewelry

DO NOT sleep on your new piercing.

DO NOT clean your piercing with chemicals such as alcohol, Neosporin, or bactine As these products are not designed for piercings.

DO NOT pick or pull at the dried matter surrounding your piercing as it is attached to the healing tissue.

DO rinse your piercing with your piercer’s approved saline.

DO wash your hands thoroughly when cleaning your piercing. A piercing is an open wound, so dirty hands or fingernails can cause infection.

DO use a travel pillow with your ear in the middle of the hole to avoid irritation while you sleep.

DO stay hydrated.

DO Schedule a checkup 4-8 weeks after your initial piercing date with your piercer.

PRODUCT WARRANTY

IS THERE A WARRANTY ON MY KBD JEWELRY?

Effective April 1st, 2022

We offer a 120 day limited product warranty on all KBD Jewelry purchased directly through us.

Please email us at orders@kellybellodesign.com for instructions on how to proceed with a repair.

WHAT DOES MY PRODUCT WARRANTY COVER?

Our warranty covers quality issues that arise from a manufacturing defect in the first 120 days from the day of purchase.

Such as broken chains and/or clasps, loose diamonds or color stones, and missing micro pave diamonds smaller than 0.05ct.

WHAT'S NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?

We do not provide warranties for theft, product loss, or loss of gemstones including pearls, birthstones, diamonds or other type of stone.

We do not cover issues that arise from normal wear and tear including but not limited to: misshapen rings, scratches, bends, dents, or cracked stones.

Resizes are treated as a repair and are not covered by our product warranty.

Under no circumstances is Kelly Bello Design responsible for repairs and/or alterations made by another jeweler. This will immediately void any/or all product warranty.

I NEED A REPAIR, BUT MY PRODUCT WARRANTY EXPIRED.

Should you require a repair after the 120 day warranty period, please email us at info@kellybellodesign.com with detailed images of the piece to initiate your repair request.

Repairs are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Allow two to four weeks for all repairs.

Please note that the customer is responsible for the repair and two-way shipping.

Rush repairs are not accepted.

Please note that our warranty applies only to customers purchasing directly from Kelly Bello Design.

HOW DO I SEND BACK AN ITEM FOR A REPAIR?

Please email us at info@kellybellodesign.com to initiate your repair request.

Our Product Warranty is only valid for US orders. At this time, international orders are not covered by our Product Warranty.

KBD does not repair jewelry purchased through another retailer. If you purchased a piece through one of our wholesale partners we highly recommend reaching out to them first.

Orders

Orders may be placed online at www.kellybellodesign.com at any time.

If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through the Service ("Purchase"), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your credit card number, the expiration date of your credit card, your billing address, and your shipping information.

You represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with any Purchase; and that (ii) the information you supply to us is true, correct and complete.

By submitting such information, you grant us the right to provide the information to third parties for purposes of facilitating the completion of Purchases.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order at any time for certain reasons including but not limited to: product or service availability, errors in the description or price of the product or service, error in your order or other reasons.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order if fraud or an unauthorized or illegal transaction is suspected.

All pieces are shown and processed in US Dollars.

Order Fulfillment

All Fine orders are custom cast and made to order in the US. All orders do not go into production without full advance payment by the customer. 

Fine orders take between 5-10 days to produce and ship. Should you need your order before then- you may be able to rush your order for an additional fee of $50. You can note your rush request in the comments section of the order and by selecting Rush as your form of shipping.

Orders placed during holidays or when there is a high volume of orders can take longer that the allotted time window. A sales representative will always notify the customer if this is the case. 

Sales Tax

Sales tax is applicable on all orders shipped within New York State. The rate fluctuates depending on the county the order is being shipped to.

Availability, errors and inaccuracies

We are constantly updating our offerings of products and services on the Service. The products or services available on our Service may be misprized, described inaccurately, or unavailable, and we may experience delays in updating information on the Service and in our advertising on other web sites.

We cannot and do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information, including prices, product images, specifications, availability, and services. We reserve the right to change or update information and to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice.

Contests, Sweepstakes and Promotions

Any contests, sweepstakes or other promotions (collectively, "Promotions") made available through the Service may be governed by rules that are separate from these Terms. If you participate in any Promotions, please review the applicable rules as well as our Privacy Policy. If the rules for a Promotion conflict with these Terms, the Promotion rules will apply.

The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Kelly Bello Design Inc.

Rings: If you are unsure of your ring size. You can purchase our Ring Sizer to size yourself at home. For more information, please download and print our Ring Size Guide.

CAN RINGS BE RESIZED?

Due to all the variations in ring sizes, ring resizes are treated as a repair.

Should you wish to exchange a ring, there will be a 20% restocking fee.

Please note that eternity rings cannot be resized.

WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW MY RING SIZE?

We strongly suggest you know your ring size before ordering.

As a KBD Rewards subscriber, you will receive a $10 credit towards a ring purchase when purchasing our Ring Sizer.

*Limit one per customer.

HOW DO CHAIN RINGS FIT?

Because of the soft chain, our chain rings tend to be a bit tricky to put on. Please refer to this video to learn how to put on our chain rings.

We suggest you size up when ordering our chain rings.

HOW DO BRACELETS FIT?

Chain bracelets should fit closer to the skin. Leaving just enough space to slide one finger under the bracelet. Too much space is not recommended. If it is too loose, it will keep rolling on your arm.

The standard length for most of our bracelets is 6.5-7". If you wish a different length, you can let us know on the product page selections or at checkout.
